Lauren and Jacob’s Anniversary Session at Nottoway Plantation

Lauren and Jacob’s Anniversary Session at Nottoway Plantation

Time goes by so quickly.  These two were married last May at Nottoway Plantation.  The wedding was absolutely beautiful, but the rain started right after the ceremony, which meant we didn’t have much time to shoot photos around the grounds of the bride and groom.  I’m thankful we had the opportunity to photograph these two again for their anniversary!  The session was relaxed, and we had plenty of time to trounce around Nottoway to get relaxed portraits-  until the rain decided to visit us again!  You’ll notice them running in one of the images below-  I’m sure you can guess why.   Enjoy!

Jenais and Ronnie’s Editorial Portraits in New Orleans

One of my favorite sessions to photograph is our “Free to Flaunt” sessions.  This is a session scheduled after the wedding where the bride and groom can create portraits in their wedding attire in a more relaxed and stress free environment.  We have time to explore.  We have time to set up good lighting.  We aren’t bound by a wedding day schedule.  And the bride and groom don’t have to worry about getting dirty (although we try to keep it clean).

Jenais and Ronnie met up with me at a little bar next to their condo for their editorial portraits in New Orleans.  We shot several inside the swanky bar,  then walked across the street to their wedding reception venue, the New Orleans Hyatt Regency.

Emily and Justin flaunt at Dunleith Plantation

Emily and Justin put on their wedding attire a few weeks before their wedding so that we could create a portrait for them to display at the wedding.  These “Pre-Wedding Sessions” are getting more and more popular, and we love them!

Enjoy!
