I’ve been thinking about funeral photography for a few years now. It always struck me that every other event in someone’s life is documented, and that a funeral, despite its morbid association, is the celebration of someone’s life, and how much they mean to their loved ones. I don’t think it’s a matter of trampling on someone’s feelings, or being intrusive, just documenting how much someone meant to so many people.
